Bunkering

Price declines may continue in the Global Bunker Market

The values of the world bunker index MABUX (an index calculated at current prices for the main types of bunker fuel in the pool of leading ports of the world) showed a weak decline on September 30:
380 HSFO – USD/MT – 501.18 (-5.57)
VLSFO – USD/MT – 760.06 (-0.96)
MGO – USD/MT – 1 096.54 (-1.75)
At the end of September 30, the MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (a comparison of market bunker prices and the MABUX digital bunker price benchmark), 380 HSFO fuel was underestimated in all selected ports: in Rotterdam – minus $ 97 (minus $ 76 a day earlier), in Singapore – minus $ 150 (minus $ 148 a day earlier), in Fujairah – minus $ 152 (minus $ 136 a day earlier), in Houston – minus 67 (minus $ 72 a day earlier). First Direct China-Scotland Shipping Route Begins

The new shipping route has been hailed as a “game changer for Scotland”. The Allseas Pioneer arrived in Greenock from Ningbo in China earlier, carrying containers of textiles, furniture and toys for sale in Scotland.
